Invoiceize

Invoiceize is a free invoice generator that lets you type on the left while the finished invoice builds itself on the right, then download a PDF in one click. There is no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you make, and the same editor also creates receipts, quotes and pay stubs. It is built for people who send a handful of invoices a month and do not want accounting software. You fill in your business, your client and each thing you are charging for, and the totals and tax add up as you type. You can also click any text on the invoice preview to edit it in place, and both sides stay in sync. The math is exact and rounded to your currency, with no decimals for yen and three for dinars, and you can use any ISO currency code. Tax and discounts work as a percentage or a fixed amount, and you can add shipping. Record a deposit under amount paid, and the balance due updates by itself. Line items can be pasted straight from Excel or Google Sheets, with each row becoming its own line. For the look, you can switch between the Classic, Modern and Minimal layouts, pick any brand color and heading font, and upload your logo. Every word is editable, so you can rename Invoice to Tax Invoice, add custom fields such as a PO number or tax ID, and hide sections you do not need. The Brand Kit saves your logo, color, business details and payment info, so each new invoice starts with them. There are ready templates for freelancers, hourly work, consultants and contractors. PDFs come out on US Letter or A4, and long invoices break between rows, never through one. When a client pays, you can turn the invoice into a receipt for the full amount. Your drafts are saved in your browser's local storage, and Invoiceize never receives them unless you choose to log in. Logging in is optional and free, and it saves invoices to the cloud so you can open them on other devices. The site says your data is never sold or used to train AI.
